Hi, my name is Mari Lipscy! My favorite part of attending the Oscar Peterson School is to see my piano teacher Emily and to go all the way up to the fourth floor to attend piano theory. I also love eating milk chocolate cookies and almond matcha cookies at the café while I wait for my sister to finish her lessons. I look forward every week to working on my piano pieces and getting better at playing. My favorite composer is Beethoven. My favorite pianists are Lisa Tahara and Emily Seto-Hughes. My favorite genres of music are K-pop and piano pieces that use the pedal. This year, I want to play my piano pieces to my family, my grandparents, my friends, and a big audience at a musical festival. Thank you for the Faculty Association Grant. I was super happy when I heard the news!
